2025 Undergraduate Scholars Conference
The Undergraduate Scholars Conference celebrates student work of exceptional merit.
The conference will feature student presentations on original scholarly works that
go above and beyond classroom assignments. Students may choose to present in a traditional
slide format (PowerPoint, video slides, etc.) or an informal tabletop display (artifacts,
materials, posters, collections, etc).
Format of the Conference
- The afternoon will begin at 1 p.m. with opening remarks.
- The conference will then break into smaller concurrent sessions where students giving slide presentations will share their work in 15-minute slots
(with time left for questions and answers).
- Following the slide presentations, the students who have chosen the informal tabletop
format will present their work during our "gallery walk" in the Connector.
- Reception: The event includes a reception during the "gallery walk" so that guests can nibble
and sip as they work their way around the room to engage the student presenters.

Important dates: Students must submit an abstract by the Friday of the first week of spring semester
to be considered. Acceptance to the conference will be sent out the following week.

What's in it for you, the student?
You will have the experience of taking part in an academic-style conference, which
we believe will be a memorable experience for all those who participate. You will
be able to share the hard work you have done with the community and will be able to
put this on a resume for transfer applications. It is also our hope that you will
bring your presentation to the larger statewide honors scholarship conference in April,
or attend to take in its many offerings!

A member of the ΊμΠΣΦ±²₯ community has deemed your work worthy of inclusion in the conference.
Congratulations! Their role is to act as both your sponsor and mentor in the process,
overseeing your project and guiding you toward your presentation.
Students must have a sponsor to apply. If you have not been approved by a ΊμΠΣΦ±²₯ community member, and do not have
a sponsor, we will not read or accept your application.

You will be writing an abstract of your project, no longer than 250 words. , to ensure your project abstract is properly written and formatted. Also, please
visit ΊμΠΣΦ±²₯'s Writing Center, which is there to provide guidance on conference abstracts.
